A LAST WILL & TESTAMENT WILL NOT AVOID PROBATE!
A Last Will & Testament is a legal instrument whereby a person, the Testator or Testatrix, designates one or more persons to manage their estate assets upon death and the distribution of estate assets to the beneficiaries designated under the decedent’s Last Will & Testament. A Will contains provisions dictating where your automobiles, jewelry, household furnishings, furniture, personal effects, bank accounts, investment accounts and real property are to be distributed, upon death. A Will can also direct how you want your remains to be handled, cremation or burial.
